Continuous Operating Power is that which a generating set is capable of delivering continuously for an unlimited number of operating hours per year between stated maintenance intervals and under stated ambient conditions, the maintenance being carried out as prescribed by MAN Diesel & Turbo UK Ltd.
Prime Rated Power is the maximum power available during a variable power sequence, which may be run for an unlimited number of hours per year between stated maintenance intervals and under stated ambient conditions. The maintenance being carried out as prescribed by MAN Diesel & Turbo UK Ltd. Average power over variable load power sequence shall not exceed 75% of stated power.
Limited Time Power is the Maximum power which a generating set is capable of delivering for up to 500 hours per year, of which a maximum of 300 hours is continuous running between stated maintenance intervals and under stated ambient conditions. The maintenance being carried out as prescribed by MAN Diesel & Turbo UK Ltd.
